8th Canadian Hussars to Conduct Stability Operations Exercise in Sussex
From October 17–19, the Sussex Emergency Operations Control Group (EOC) will be working alongside the 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise’s) and local emergency services as part of a joint stability operations training exercise in Sussex.

Sussex’s Murals: Honouring Our Past, Welcoming the Future
Many of Sussex’s murals, installed in the early 2000s, have now reached the end of their expected lifespan after nearly 20 years outdoors. As part of the Town’s public art program, these pieces are being formally retired to make way for new works. In 2025, Sussex launched a project to commission seven site-specific murals, each planned to remain on display for 5 to 10 years.
